Positive: The room was clean and convenient for the racing as it was around 10 mins walking from it. Bathroom was good, bed was good. One of the women in reception was very kind.
Negative: We had a horrible overall experience, the restaurant and its staff ruins the experience. There's nowhere else to eat in the town so you are stuck with them. The staff was extremely racist, extremely disrespectful and overall should simply not be employed. We had to formally complain to reception and they mentioned they were aware of the restaurant staff's (a young woman) behaviour. The woman in reception went above and beyond to make our experience decent. We stayed there for some nights and some of the days we chose not to eat in the whole day to not deal with the racism and disrespect. Other nights, the lady would simply not seat us because she "didn't feel like serving one more table". The food was bad and overpriced. About the hotel itself: no water in the room, we had to find some in the tracks because no water is offered. Tea/coffee offered in the room is not refilled throughout your stay, so if you had a long stay as we did, you have to somehow ration it. Phones don't work, wifi barely works (can't work or even browse social media). AC barely worked, and it was 38 degrees outside when we were there. Only stay here if you have to, otherwise find somewhere else, unless they rebrand and change these things and the resutaurant. All bad reviews have the same concerns, so hopefully they change it soon. Nothing to do in the area, at all, so if you are not here for the tracks/races, avoid this town.
