Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location worked very well for us. We had a car, close to Keukenhof (and surroundings) with an easy return to Schiphol. An added bonus was the visit to the nearby beach and the flower parade float warehouse to watch them assemble the spectacular floats for the upcoming parade.

Negative: The apartment was spacious but more rundown than the photos depicted. We appreciate it being on the ground floor and parking worked out. There wasn’t a microwave and the cooking pan provided should really be replaced. You really couldn’t cook anything (a chopstick like implement couldn’t make eggs). Fortunately, there were several restaurants nearby (5 minute walk) but the seashore and its amenities is about 1 mile away. We didn’t eat breakfast there. There was a bar and they appear to be an active social spot for the locals (very nice staff).

Summary: Well priced option for visiting the tulip areas
