Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Is a typical 1970'ies hotel on the costal side like there are a lot. Now it is a low budget one. Must have done some renovation many years ago. The aisles looked like a prison: cold white and green paint on the walls, without any personal touch. Rooms were very basic but reasonably clean. The outside of the hotel looks like it has been taken care of, which I believe it has. Although I believe the photo must have been taken some years ago. The lighting in this place are very 'cold', hard white, bright, almost blue. Does not contribute to the atmosphere but is functional. Breakfast was very basic. Bad cappuccino and coffee from a machine, some dried bread, yoghurt and 2 types of cereal. No water, no fresh bread, no cornetto's, no milk and no one available to ask anything.

Negative: Maybe some low cost tips to improve? - Use some nice warm coloration/paint for the hotel aisles, rooms and restaurant. - Put in some 'warm' lights, yellow-ish and remove the garden floodlights in the aisles. This way it looks better and more inviting. - Please do smt on the breakfast. This is not at all up to standards anymore. - Put in a new shower cabins. They are old, worn out and not at all clean anymore. - Consider buying new mattresses so your customers don't lie in a pit anymore. Diner: - One pasta with ragù and one with pesto. Both costs € 9,-. Pasta was overcooked. The pasta turned out to be Penne. Both ragù and pesto came out of a jar from the supermarket. Really guys? In 2021 you expect clients to be happy about this?

Summary: Low budget hotel do not expect more.
