Lovely 3 bedroom semi-detached home within a 2 minute walk of Sneem Village and its wonderful selection of pubs, places to eat and shops. Located in a small cluster of homes, Salmon's Leap is the end house so has a lovely private aspect overlooking the Sneem River below. There is plenty of parking available and side gates mean that the patio area is enclosed and safe for children.
The sitting room is cosy and well finished with a gas fire, TV and DVD player along with both a two-seater and a three-seater couch. All the rooms downstairs have either wooden floors or tiles. Wifi is available free of charge to all guests.
The kitchen dining area is bright and well equipped. The dining table can seat up to 6 people and the kitchen has everything you will need during your stay including microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and electric oven. The utility room alongside the kitchen is home to the washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge freezer. There is a wall mounted TV beside the dining table.
There is a warm and welcoming sun room leading from the dining area which leads outside to the outdoor patio area with garden furniture – the ideal place to relax with a good book and a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! The sun room has an electric stove and a couple of armchairs so no matter the weather, it is a cosy place to be.
At the bottom of the stairs there is a guest toilet.
All three bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size double bed and it is ensuite with a shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, and the third bedroom has a double bed. There are lots of wardrobes and chests of drawers for storage. In all, this house can accommodate 6-7 people comfortably.
The main bathroom is upstairs with a large walk-in shower. Please note there is no bath in this house.
The house is heated with oil-fired central heating. A daily energy charge of €5 euro per day applies during the months of June, July and August, and €7 per day for all other months of the year. This is payable in advance of your stay to Dream Ireland.

This is a lovely modern home to relax and enjoy a few days away with family or friends. It should be noted that some construction work is going on directly across from the house, but it is well fenced in and the workmen will be mindful of our guests during the day time while they are working.
SNEEM
Sneem is a charming village idyllically situated between the MacGillycuddy Reeks mountain range and the sea of Kenmare Bay in the southwest of Ireland. The stunning countryside offers an abundance of outdoor activities, while the village itself is full of places to visit, shop, eat, drink and relax.
Sneem village is composed of two squares, north and south, joined by a bridge over Sneem river. The village is quaint and pretty, local pride evident in the colourfully, painted houses and well-tended public areas. Sneem is a regular award-winner in the National Tidy Towns Competition, winning the top prize in 1987. The Village features a wonderful children's playground full of things to do!
Life in Sneem happens at a very relaxed pace and the village offers shops, cafés, restaurants and atmospheric pubs in which to browse, refresh yourself by day, or while away the evening. For the more energetic, the sheltered harbour of Oysterbed Pier, The White Strand and Derrynane beaches and miles of rugged, untamed countryside are also close by.

Sneem (in Irish "An tSnaidhm", meaning "the knot"), is known as The Knot on the Ring, as it forms part of the spectacular Ring of Kerry scenic route. Killarney, Kenmare, the Ring of Beara, Caherdaniel, The Gap of Dunloe and Carrauntouhil (Ireland's highest mountain at 1039 metres) are within easy reach of Sneem.
