Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed at Kuredhi View during the off-season and were the only guests for most of the time. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and especially appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, especially compared to some other accommodations on the island. The location was very central and relatively quiet, although there is currently quite a lot of construction happening around the island in general. The breakfast was excellent with a very good variety. The Mas Huni was especially outstanding and one of the best we had during our Maldives trip.

Negative: There are a few areas where the experience could still improve, especially considering the price level. Complimentary drinking water was limited, and we often had to ask for basic things such as toilet paper, tea bags or fresh towels when they ran out. Some smaller things in the room were partly broken during our stay, including the shower head, toilet flush and door lock. However, whenever we informed the staff, they tried to fix the issues quickly, which we appreciated. As it was the off-season, the overall atmosphere sometimes felt a bit quiet and reduced in operation, especially regarding lighting and staff presence. We would also have loved to see more local tropical fruits such as banana, mango or papaya at breakfast, as well as real coffee instead of instant coffee. Despite these points, the staff always remained very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Summary: A clean, centrally located and quiet guesthouse with excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff.
