Summary: The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with high-quality facilities and a wonderful farm-to-table breakfast and dinner prepared by the kitchen team. I truly enjoyed my stay, all the staff were helpful and polite. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway and wanted to stay away from tourists, I highly recommend this place. You can experience the charm of a traditional Japanese small town while being surrounded by nature.
