We have been home sharing for over 3 years we are new to theVBRO platform but have over 300+ reviews on other sites, so rest assured we are expert hosts.
This large, high vaulted ceiling home, has character and charm, modern amenities with Byron Charm, decorated with artifacts from different cultures, great reading materials, luxurious furniture and a fully equipped cooks kitchen (including spices, oils, and teas). It is the perfect mix of modern meets Byron charm, the home is solid double brick, double storey, it is spacious, open and it's multi levels and sunken lounge area make it an interesting and very comfortable grounded homely space.
All bedrooms have been recently renovated with complete make-over adding a complete upgraded feel and modern amenities (see new pics added)
All Beds are 'Brand-New', super plush, top-of-the-line pillow top mattresses, with new quality linen, 4 Beds= (2 x double beds, 1 x King Single Bed + 1 king single Matt Blatt fold-out sofa couch) all accommodating 6 guests comfortably (5 with-out fold out couch).
Note: there is a fold out couch in the living room too that can accomodate an extra 2 guests, (total 8) please apply regarding extra guests as costs apply for 6 or more guests.
Each guest has quality fresh bath and beach towels supplied and all rooms have sliding door mirrored built in robes with shelves and hanging space. The Upstairs Bedroom with mountain views, also has a work desk and a 42” Sony UHD flat screen TV with Netflix, Stan , Prime & Disney+. The Bottom room also a TV with access to same services. Air conditioning in top 2 bedrooms plus all rooms have Fans and heaters (winter) are also supplied. Iron and ironing board, Hair dryer and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner are provided as well.

- Room at the front of the house to park 1 car in the guest carpark with unlimited, unmetered, free street parking for multiple cars as well (wide spacious safe street to park on).
- Led remote controlled Lights/Fan in each room and
- a Gas Heater in the Living room that is excellent in heating the large open area quickly in colder periods.
No keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using a unique virtual key or personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay.
The house is kept immaculately clean and we know you will enjoy the space.
NOTE: We travel between Byron & Sydney, so when in Byron, we stay in a separate (studio/townhouse) on the property separate from the main house and will be there to greet you :-), if we are away we will communicate by phone. So we are either available in person or always by phone for any assistance you need.

1 x Private Room (ground floor) adjacent to bathroom, inc. brand new, top-of-the-range double bed with soft pillow-top mattress, quality linen, oil heater, standing fan and mirrored sliding door built in robe, this room is cosy and grounding. Includes TV with access to Netflix, Stan & Prime.
BEDROOM 2: recently renovated
1 x Private Room (upper floor) inc. top of range double bed with soft plush pillow-top mattress and quality linen, Air-conditioner (heating and cooling) LED Overhead light and fan controlled by remote, office desk, chair, new 42” UHD Sony smart television with Netflix, Stan, Prime & Disney+. This room has a great overhead view south over the lake and west over the mountains.
BEDROOM 3: recently renovated
1 x smaller room, with view over backyard garden and west to mountains, inc. Brand new, top-of-the-range plush soft King Single Mattress with pillow-top + a single chair that folds out to another king single bed (with super soft cushion pillow top for comfort) (accommodating 2 in this room), LED Overhead light and fan controlled by remote + Air-conditioner (heating and cooling)
All share access to a separate bathroom including.; vanity, toilet and shower on the lower level.
AND YES WE SUPPLY TOILET PAPER :-)

Fully Equipped Cooks Kitchen with all appliances, cutlery and utensils supplied, a large fridge with empty shelves for your food, brand new belling induction cooktop and Jamie Oliver induction cookware with 3 x electric ovens, blender, dishwasher and dining table area that seats 6 comfortably.
Sunken lounge and living area with 3 x comfy couches seating 6-8 people, 50" plasma TV and surround sound stereo system, DVD Player, plus Apple TV with Apple Music Acc & NETFLIX , STAN, PRIME & APPLE TV+ w/Guests account, to use for any TV Shows & Films on your holiday.
Outdoor deck off Living area with outdoor table seats 6, perfect for morning coffee, tea, breakfast or afternoon meal at sunset and a back garden with grass area for kids to play or to do yoga.
Front Parking area for 1 x Guest's car off the road, plus plenty of parking on road in front of house (no parking time limits)
NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Quiet, safe neighbourhood, lush and green with plentiful wildlife. Walk across road to lake, oval, kids skate park, basketball court and children's playground, as well as Tennis Courts for hire, Baz & Shaz local store 200m away and more shops around corner within walking distance in Suffolk Park, short walk to beautiful Tallows Beach and exquisite Tea-Tree Lakes, quick 5 min drive into Byron town or opposite direction 3 min drive to stunning Broken Head Beach & King's beach.
GETTING AROUND:
End of the street access to bus stop makes easy to get in and out of town, or an UBER into town costs about $7 one way. We provide 1 off-street guest car park at the front of the house in the driveway area of house and plenty of parking on the street outside the house, the street is very wide and has no parking time limits and never an issue getting free parking all day and night.
INTERACTION:
We spend half our time in Byron so we may/may not be there to greet you, however we use the August Door lock system, so we will invite you to download the app, giving you one touch access to lock/unlock the house with your smartphone and we will also supply a CODE access to front door prior to your arrival should you require that as wel.
We are always open to recommending places for you to visit, great places to eat and other ideas for your stay, we have added many recommendations to our online guidebook. If we aren't there during your stay, we are always only a phone call away.
We have a complete house manual with photos and descriptions of everything you need for the house.
**Jemma is also a certified Yoga, Meditation, Qigong, Gyrotonic and Ayurvedic Teacher with over 15+ years experience teaching corporate, individuals, groups and running global retreats and author of 7 DVD's on these modalities. She is available at extra cost to be available to teach classes during your stay if you desire, in the backyard, inside or at nearby beaches/park. (for that added touch to have your own personal practitioner during your stay in Byron).
The house is opposite a scenic lake in Suffolk Park (Baywood Chase) area, with small walk to an amazing kids playground w/oval and skate park, basketball & tennis courts and with a view of mountains in the distance and the scenic backyard from the smaller room upstairs.
