Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Location - in a residential area, 15 min walk to the old town. Security - gated site. Parking - dedicated spot, close to the apartment, under shade - excellent. Apartment itself had all that is needed especially the very welcome air con. Gated pool (good) just a few steps away. Although one of a block of apartments, all quiet. Small private garden perfect for sitting out. Owner/host exceptionally helpful, not just re the apartment but all local amenities, places of interest. Excellent value.
Negative: er, nothing. But just to add that the "new" town, over the river, is more of a walk, especially if a cruise on the Canal du Midi, which is on the far side of the new town, is on your agenda. Maybe an Uber next time...worth the effort either way.
