Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Loved the front porch and the hammock/chimes for reading books and napping. The staff was wonderful and the availability to the kitchen to cook our own breakfast was preferred to a scheduled breakfast that is often used a B&Bs. The Sexton Suite was the most extensive one that I've experienced at a B&B. We had the upstairs bed and bath suite and the downstairs private living room.

Negative: I would have liked a bookcase full of interesting books to peruse. I would have also liked a permanent pony-wall enclosing the toilet in the bathroom.

Summary: Authentic and caring staff cares for you like family in the historical old home.
