Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Easy walk from the stations, a lot of stores and restaurants near by. Easy walk to Grand Central. All the staff if really nice and polite, helped with the needs. I left my carry on on the storage room as I found the stairs really small to carry weight and they would pick it up every time I needed it.

Negative: The hostel needs a little extra attention, its simple but it should be cleaner. The hallway carpet is stick, the room had a long stay guest so I think thats why they dont clean the room that often. It had so many crumbles on the floor, the bathroom was clearly not cleaned for a few days. The shower lamp was burned so it was so dark inside as the curtain is dark. The shower head holder was broken so it makes it so hard to wash hair, one of the towels hooks was also broken. The door in the bathroom needed to be closed or sewage smell would come out to the room. The mattress was super thin, could feel the bed under it. Also a locker or any type of storage inside the room would be nice, i had my backpack with me in the bed. For the price, was okay. But I think that these things are easy to fix and would make the stay better.
