This impressive custom built log home estate will impress! This estate is the premier Asheville and Black Mountain area vacation rental. Privately situated on over 5 acres in the prestigious Catawba Falls Preserve gated community is this 6 bedroom plus bunk room, 5 bathroom home. Hike to majestic waterfalls right from the property and community trails! The home features a fully finished lower level with wet bar with ice maker, full refrigerator, pool table, shuffleboard table, foosball, TV and couch area. There is a full-length deck with wood burning fireplace. The back yard will impress with the new huge hot tub, large rock fire pit, flagstone and beautiful landscaping. With stunning long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and only 23 miles to Asheville and 8 miles to Black Mountain, this is the epitome of mountain vacation home living in Western North Carolina. The cabin features an open floor plan, loft, great room with vaulted ceiling and pristine long range mountain views. This home will never lose power. The home has a full solar package including Tesla batteries. Catawba Falls Preserve is a gated mountain community preserve with paved roads and miles of hiking trails. The community backs up to the Pisgah National Forest and is the home for an abundance of wildlife.
This home is set up perfectly for multi generational families, 2-3 different families or multiple couples to vacation together. It is also perfect for an executive company gathering. This home has four private king ensuite bedrooms on the main and upper levels. The main floor has 2 king ensuite bedrooms. The upper level has 2 king ensuite bedrooms. Both levels have a split design plan. The lower level 5th bedroom has a queen with a walk out to the hot tub. The 6th bedroom has a queen bed with a walk out to the beautiful newly landscaped backyard. There is an additional bunk room on the lower level. There is one full bathroom on the lower level. The home can accommodate a maximum of 16 in beds. Each king bedroom, the great room, loft and rec room will have a TV. We have fast high speed wifi internet that should be able to handle most needs including streaming movies, downloading, zooming, etc.
The property is very quiet, peaceful and private and sits on over 5 acres with breathtaking views all around. There is an easy paved, private driveway to the property. Enter into the main level with minimal steps. The deck wraps around with plenty of seating and relaxing. For nature lovers, there is hiking, waterfalls and abundant wildlife in the Preserve. Our community has miles of hiking trails along the pristine streams and rivers with waterfalls. Elevation is around 2700 feet. The closest airport is Asheville, about 45 minutes from the property. Charlotte airport is about an hour and 45 minutes.
The beds are all made up prior to your arrival and we provide towels and linens. The kitchen is very well stocked with most items needed to enjoy your vacation. There are some spices available. Please note the following items: Regular drip (in kitchen) and Keurig (in basement bar) coffee makers; tea kettle; toaster oven and bread toaster; George Foreman grill, blender, hand mixer, Cuisinart; knife set; plenty of dishes, plates, silverware, glasses, etc; mixing bowls; tupperware; cookie sheets; cutting board; plenty of pots and pans.
We take cleaning our cabin very seriously. We have instructed our crew on the latest recommendations such as using the highest heat setting for washing linens and towels, disinfecting all touched surfaces including counters, door knobs, light switches, remotes, railings, etc. No weddings, parties or events over the maximum occupancy of 16 permitted. We are pet friendly. Up to 2 well behaved dogs permitted (sorry, no cats or chewing puppies allowed) with prior approval and $195 pet rent fee. Summer, holidays and October Leaf Season may have a one week minimum.
