Summary: We were so happy at every stage - from check in, to light bite in the bar, to last minute booking onto our friends’ dinner reservation, to breakfast each morning. This hotel had that really warm welcome that is so special. All staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. We only stayed for a couple nights to go to a friend’s wedding (at another venue) but they made sure we were well looked after from start to finish. Also beautiful views, super comfy bed and lovely gardens. We’ll be looking for an excuse to visit again! Also want to note that we stayed as an LGBT couple, and checked in/dined alongside our friends, another LGBT couple and found we were just welcomed as you would hope and treated completely as normal. Not something you can guarantee in all hotels and something I look for in reviews myself.
