Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Very friendly host family with English speaking son to greet us at the second floor apartment with a working lift. Having the supermarket so close was a godsend. Buses both local city, and out to neighbouring towns ran from stops just 10-15 minutes walk distance.. We stayed here, both on arrival and before flying out after our mini tour of Puglia, and found the provisions for breakfast very generous for a two night stay on each occasion. Kitchen coffee maker and microwave great, especially as no kettle. Gas hob used to cook one meal. We had access to two bathrooms, handy if WC was occupied, though we mainly used the shower room. Plentiful bathroom toiletries and loo paper!
Negative: Minor quibbles only….We would have appreciated a small card with instructions on use of TV (eventually realised x2 remotes needed to switch on), WiFi code (details of which we found on the hub requiring a magnifying glass for our older eyes), Very efficient air conditioner, but placed in communal area rather than bedroom. As in other Italian apartments, no basics for self catering in the kitchen, such as salt, pepper, or small oil for cooking, though reasonably equipped with utensils etc.. Important Tip for future guests - on exit at checkout, one of us had to keep compound gate open (self locking) as needed key to open from the inside, in order to be able to return keys to apartment. Not warned of this but luckily realised before leaving.
Summary: Very good value, lovely hosts and convenient location in quiet residential area.
