You donโt even have to leave your dog at home as this oceanfront condo is dog-friendly.
The small, quiet town of Oceanside, and even nearby Netarts, are made for vacations in which you can get away from it all. This complex is only nine miles west of the Tillamook Cheese Factory at which you can do light grocery shopping (donโt forget the โsqueaky cheeseโ). The town also has full supermarkets. Once you park at this complex, located on the southern side of Cape Meares, you'll feel compelled to stay put and enjoy every moment.
With the sigh-inducing views of the Three Arch Rocks and spacious sandy shore from both inside the modern rental and on the shared deck, you'll have a new happy place. A beach-themed decor story extends throughout the two-bedroom home, so you'll be fully immersed in an ocean atmosphere.
Once the sun sets, feel free to indulge in a little TV time with the mounted flatscreen equipped with cable and a DVD player. Fix snacks in the in the fully stocked open-concept kitchen. In the morning, you'll be awakened by soft steps of your friends on the hardwood floors as they fix coffee and breakfast.
Six guests can choose to sleep in the master king-size bedroom, the queen room, or even on the sofa sleeper (closest to the best sea views!). The contemporary condo even has two bathrooms with heated tile floors.
Of course the beach steps from your door is dog friendly. Up to two dogs are allowed with an additional fee. Since this is a ground-floor unit, it's easily accessible when you have excited dogs or guests with limited mobility. If you drive an electric vehicle, there's no need to worry about battery life - there are two Tesla-specific and one standard charging stations!
Staying in and sharing a homemade feast is nice, but Oceanside has two friendly eateries that might be a nice stop after a visit to Cape Meares Lighthouse three miles to the north. If you're coming from the east, be sure to stop through Tillamook for ice cream and all the samples of cheese you'd want at the local factory.
