Escape to serene Southern Shores, NC located just south of Duck. This house was built in the late '50s but has been lovingly restored with respect to the original design. No 'McMansions' here, you'll find quirky colorful tile in the original baths, the hardwood floors have been refinished and the original pine paneling of the day updated with fun colors. Create in the fully stocked kitchen with a convenient extra refrigerator located in the garage. Enjoy three living areas so adults can children have all the space the need. There are plenty of nooks for reading, naps and socializing. A large selection of books, puzzles and board games are provided for indoor days. On lovely outdoor days indulge in one of the three outdoor showers or spend the day in the sun at the beach!
Ground Level: Exterior amenities include 3 outside showers, a private walkway to the beach and oceanfront sun and shade decks. Family room with TV/DVD, stereo with CD and Queen Sleep Sofa, game room with arcade game and multi-game table including pool, air hockey and ping pong. Room with a Queen, TV/DVD and attached half bath (shared with family room) and a room with 2 Singles, TV and attached half bath. Full hall bathroom, double garage with extra refrigerator and laundry area with washer, dryer and utility sink.
Top Level: Entry level, foyer with double sided gas fireplace that also faces the great room with TV/DVD/VCR and surround sound with access to the oceanfront sun porch with couches and a game table seating 3. 3 Queen Bedrooms each with flat-screen TVs (one with DVD), Bedroom with 2 Singles and flat-screen TV, 2 full hall baths, dining room seating 10, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating 3 and stairs leading down to the ground level.
Extras: Private walkway to beach, 8 TVs, 4 DVDs, 2 stereos with CD, multi game table, video arcade game, gas grill, wireless high-speed internet access, 2 refrigerators, 3 outside showers, furnished decks, movies, books, gas fireplace (available November 1- April 30), community water and linens and towels provided. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.
