Positive: I cannot speak highly enough about how incredible our stay was at Hakone Kairai. It was truly magical. Kazunori Ota warmly greeted us upon arrival and welcomed us with green tea and sweets. Everything about the property was just immaculate. Secluded property surrounded by such beautiful nature and foggy mountains. This property featured a private outdoor onsen surrounded by nature and was such a relaxing and surreal experience. You can really tell how much effort Kazunori Ota puts into ensuring guests have an amazing stay. Kazunori went well and truly above and beyond for my husband and I during our short stay in Hakone. He spoke English exceptionally well and stayed in constant communication with us to help us with whatever we needed. Staying in Hakone was definitely one of the biggest highlights of our trip to Japan and it is truly thanks to Kazunori and the amount of care and effort he put into ensuring we had an incredible stay. There are a handful of lovely local restaurants close to the property as well as a Lawson convenience store and a bus stop only a short few minutes from the property. I highly highly recommend Hakone Kairai for anyone travelling to Hakone seeking a relaxing and peaceful experience. Such a luxurious and quiet escape. Thank you so much to Kazunori for allowing us to stay at your property and for being so incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
