Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The farm, chapel, architecture, breakfast, and history of the property. It was all so unique. We especially liked the peacocks, the donkey, and the goats!! And Francisco was an excellent host.
Negative: Our shower didn’t drain well due to the pipe configuration. We still loved our stay, but this is one of our pet peeves. Also, we struggled to find the property, as it’s behind a gate. We finally had to start walking around and it just so happened that a staff member was just inside the gate and asked if we were checking in. I guess we would have had to call if she hadn’t been there. Perhaps a larger sign and instructions would have helped. Instructions should have been provided in the booking when we made the reservation. All in all, it’s still one of our favorite hotels ever.
Summary: We didn’t want to leave, and we’ll be back.
