Summary: Lovely little hotel in the old part of Istanbul. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and nice, with AC. We loved the Turkish breakfast with for example fresh fruit, salads and bread. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants and little shops in the neighbourhood. A metro station is also near (10 minute walk). It’s a 20 minute walk (uphill) to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The neighbourhood is old but don’t let the looks scare you. The people are friendly. We (ladies) walked back to the hotel in the night after going to the Istanbul Festival and we were perfectly safe. We will come back to this hotel and recommend it to others.
