Positive: There was nothing extra special to speak of unfortunately.
Negative: Accessing the wi-fi was not clear. The instructions were incorrect so I had to resort to texting vacasa for help. The refrigerator was leaking upon arrival and later on the ceiling began leaking so we had to put 3 different pots down to catch the water. We got ahold of vacasa again and they had to send 2 different maintenance men on two separate days to help. The air filter had not been changed in a very long time so we had to have that changed. The outflow was so clogged that it caused the backup from the air conditioning to then leak into our kitchen. Some of the exterior shingles had been blown off over time so the structure behind them had become exposed. I witnessed some of the panels being blown off myself one day when the wind was blowing. Access to the beach is not an easy track. Something should be done to accommodate families with small children and elderly adults. We had to leave the property and drive down Hwy 12 to find easier access. The beds were absolutely horrendous to sleep on. My back hurt daily after sleeping on them. I tried three of the four beds and none was better than the other. I had to resort to sleeping on the couch in the living room, which was not much of an improvement either. Unacceptable to say the least. Finally, there should at least be some essentials in the kitchen. There wasnโ€™t even any salt and pepper. We literally had to buy every single thing we needed. I feel I deserve at least a partial refund based on all that my family and I had to endure during our one and only vacation of the year based on the, I see now to be, excessive cost for an underwhelming and all around unsatisfactory experience. I hope for the next family who decides to spend their hard earned money at this place has a better experience. If the issues I have stated are addressed It might happen.
