Positive: The location of the property is great. About 1/2 a mile from the main area of Helen. There are 3 large screened porches, one on each floor. Very quite and peaceful with the river in the back.
Negative: Communication with property management company is terrible. Major issues with gaining access to property. No clear information was provided on how to get into the property and wrong door codes were sent. Over 30 minutes of waiting outside the property, we finally learned that we could not use the door code, we had to use the lockbox with a key. Only 1 key for the 3 bedroom property (for 6 people). There are no outside trash bins or a dumpster available. You are forced to store your garbage on the outside deck/patio, which is gross! There are a lot of stairs. This property is 3 stories high. There is an elevator, but it is locked and not available for use. 1st floor is a bedroom, 2nd floor is the main living and kitchen area and the 3rd floor are two more bedrooms. Washer/dryer is also on the 3rd floor. Hauling luggage and belongings up 5 sets up stairs is exhausting.
Summary: Location was perfect for Oktoberfest!
