Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is spectacular, but virtually impossible to reach without a car. Taxis are expensive. The owner and hostess is legendary, ever-present and charming.
Negative: At weekends, it is a social hub for an odd assortment of wealthy guests (Dom Pérignon at seventeen thousand Euros pretty much sums it up) who are keen to spoil the mountain scenery with as much noise as possible by revving Harleys and cranking up the beat box till late at night.
