Positive: The house was like a home from home. Owners' communications and check in details were great. As soon as we opened the door we loved it: the cosy seaside decor, lovely living room with homely feel, so clean and tidy, the little welcoming goodies, the comfy beds, and of course 2 bathrooms with showers(!) The road is quiet with easy parking, and I think we saw every friendly neighbour at some point during our stay! The house is literally a stone's throw from the beach. It felt a very safe area, even on a sunset beach walk at 10pm. We'd definitely recommend this property. Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is well located, it's a short drive to countryside to the west, cities to the south, Bamburgh, Holy Island, and Farne Islands boat trips to the north.
