Walk through the front doors and be wowed by the incredible gulf and wildlife views in this quiet Cedar Key cove. Relax and unwind while sipping morning coffee or tea and enjoying the scenic view on the spacious deck. At times, when the tide is in, dolphins can be seen hunting for mullet, redfish tails bobbing, rays surfing, eagles and osprey fishing, and anginas diving. When the tide is out there are roseate spoonbills, egrets, and pelicans just to name a few of the amazing wildlife that entertains from your perch over the water. There is always something to see! When you’re ready to take a break from wildlife watching and relaxing, head out on one of the many adventurous possibilities around Cedar Key. Wake up to waterfront views in both master bedrooms, on opposite sides of the home. Both bedrooms have double sliding doors that open to the waterside deck. Each of the bedrooms has a luxurious bath with a grand walk-in tiled shower in one and a deep spa soaking tub in the other. The kitchen and great room are open so you can see the water from every corner of our inviting home. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools you need to cook fresh fish or order out from one of our amazing seafood restaurants and enjoy your private waterside dining. Our favorite feature is the deck that runs along the back of the home with dining seating for two, casual seating for four, and a hammock that constantly beckons. A perfect spot for grabbing your favorite book and settling in. There are Adirondack chairs on the front porch to hang out and enjoy the evening. Downstairs there is plenty of room to park 2 cars and a boat and/or golf cart. When you’re ready to head to the quaint Cedar Key downtown, you can bike, take a golf cart, or drive, there is plenty of parking in town. We have a visitor book that offers lots of ideas for your stay from leisurely checking out the fun local shops, grabbing a great breakfast at Annie’s local Legend restaurant, going to a fun music event in the Island Hotel Garden, or paddling over to our own Astena Otie Key Island beach. so many cool adventures to be had here. This home is on stilts, so you need to be comfortable climbing steps. The floating dock and steps are used at your own risk.
