Enjoy over 200' of West facing private frontage on pristine 700+ acre Nubanusit Lake surrounded by super-sanctuary conservation land in the New Hampshire Monadnock region only minutes from the charming hamlets of Hancock and Peterborough. Two hours travel by car from Boston. Quality and attention to detail are evident throughout in this custom home with radiant heated hand hewn floors. From the grand entry to the gourmet cook's kitchen to the central stone fireplace. This is a warm and inviting home that's perfect for entertaining family and friends with plenty of bedrooms for everyone. The first floor master suite has a queen bed with ensuite bathroom (large glass door walk in shower and heated floors). It has a full wall of windows that face the lake to take in the view and the amazing sunsets. The mid-level suite has 2 queens and 1 full sized bed and a private bath. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper level. One bedroom has 2 twins and one bedroom has a queen sized bed. The lower level features plenty of play space with game room (Brunswick professional billiard table, ping pong table, 14' shuffleboard table and dart board), exercise area (Cybex Arc Trainer, Technogym Wave Machine), home theatre (65" Flat Screen with Sonos sound bar) and a king bedroom with private bath. The cottage at the waters edge offers a great space for everyone after a day on the lake or quiet reflection at any time. A dream property offering an unmatched setting. Amenities include private dock, mooring available for renter's boat, 3 canoes, 2 paddle boards, chess table and Mason and Hamlin piano. Maid service is available for a fee but renters would have to vacate the house while maids are on site.

Summary: This house is truly incredible! It was even better in person. We stayed for 10 days in the winter and it was just gorgeous with and without snow. Surrounded by tall trees and the lake, it feels extremely secluded and private, but is only a short 5-10 minute drive from everything you would need in town. Multiple patios, an enormous fireplace, lots of fun amenities (pool, ping pong, darts, shuffleboard), great home theater, and a comprehensive home gym with 3 cardio machines, weights, and a dip/pull up station) meant we hardly even had to leave the house! The beds are very comfortable and the house is well stocked with whatever you may need. The heated floors throughout made it so cozy even on the coldest days. This is a special house, Allison and Ned were wonderful hosts, and we hope to be back soon!
