Positive: An excellent location to explore Fife. St Monans is a pretty coastal village set around the harbour We were a group of 4 friends who met up to play golf for a week, there being around 40 courses in the Fife area. The house was well equipped with a good living space and 4 bedrooms. We had an excellent week which to be fair was assisted by the remarkable weather.

Negative: Unfortunately there are no pubs in the village. However there are a few places to eat. We had 2 meals at the East Pier Smokehouse which were very good. There is the 95 bus service which provides a frequent and reliable service and is a good option should you wish to go further afield. We used the bus a couple of times for an evening trip out for a meal/drinks. This meant that we didn’t have to worry about having a designated driver. Taxi’s are few and far between.

Summary: Excellent location, a lovely well equipped house, great base for a golf break, we had a great time.
