☆☆ BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS ☆☆
Welcome to your two-story condo located on the second and third floors of the Surf Court complex - second-row to the beach. Enjoy a restful sleep in one of the two spacious bedrooms, each located on the second floor of the condo. No need to live out of your suitcase here; both bedrooms offer ample storage space in dresser drawers and walk-in closets (with plenty of hangers!), so you can unpack, relax, and feel right at home.
The King Bedroom has (of course) a king-sized bed dressed with luxurious linens. There is a 55” smart TV for all your streaming needs and tasteful artwork and designer accents to create an inviting atmosphere.
This room has a beautiful ensuite full bathroom called the Green Tile bath. This bathroom has a walk-in shower, a stunning vanity mirror, and gold finishes.
The second bedroom, dubbed the Peacock Bedroom, is furnished with two comfortable full-sized beds and a 50” HD smart TV so you can stream from the privacy of your room. You’ll love the designer accent wall from which the room gets its name.
This room’s lovely ensuite full bathroom, the White Tile bathroom, has a walk-in shower and what we like to call the Mad Max Mirror.
On the main floor, there’s an additional half bathroom to provide ample space for everyone to get ready. The bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer for your convenience.
☆☆ KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM☆☆
On the main floor, you’ll find the beautiful full kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, open shelving, and a stunning sink faucet. The modern kitchen is stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you’ll need to cook delectable dishes during your stay. Enjoy using the full-size drop-in range and the most adorable refrigerator you ever saw. A countertop nugget ice maker is perfect for keeping your cocktails cool and refreshing.
Get your morning started with a hot cup of coffee from the Nespresso or drip coffee machine. Help yourself to the Villa la Vie Enduro Coffee provided. If tea is more to your liking, there is an electric kettle, as well.
A washer and dryer are located at the end of the kitchen so you can keep your wardrobe clean during your stay, and laundry detergent pods are provided.
The full kitchen opens up to a chic and comfortable dining area with Asian and Delft-inspired blue and white porcelain. Share meals with friends and family around the dining table made out of reclaimed wood.
After dinner, grab a game from the shelf behind the dining table (choose from backgammon or mahjong, among others), so you can enjoy some friendly competition with your group.
The well-appointed living room boasts plenty of seating, with a Pottery Barn down-cushion sofa, two upholstered swivel chairs, and two lovely poufs. Sit back and watch a movie on the 65” Smart TV, or cozy up and read a good book in the evening. Don’t forget to log out of your streaming services before you leave!
☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
Step through the large sliding glass door in the living room to the private balcony to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze while sipping on a cool drink. Admire the lush green courtyard and pool views, and make your way down the stairs to take a refreshing dip when you’re ready. The shimmering pool is shared by other residents at the Surf Court condominium complex. (The pool is closed for swimming from Oct. 1 - March 31.)
Note - the only way to enter the courtyard at Surf Court (well, there is a secret one you'll learn if you book a stay with us) is through one of the condos. It is not open to the general public, so the feeling you get that the courtyard is private is justified.
Guest access
The complex is "Surf Court." Your condo is unit #50.
Enjoy self-check-in and keyless entry with the keypad "smart" door lock (please confirm when you receive your code). The code will be valid for your entire stay.
You will have private, full access to the entire Villa la Vie condo, including the fully-equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and luxurious furnishings. You will also enjoy access to the Surf Court pool and courtyard just for Surf Court residents and guests (we’ll let you know a secret entrance to the courtyard if you book a stay with us).
Free parking is available on-site, directly in front of the condo.
Parking passes are in a basket hanging on the wall in the entryway. PLEASE PUT A PARKING PASS ON YOUR DASHBOARD SOON AFTER ARRIVING. (Also, please remember to return the pass to the basket at the end of your stay so the next guest will have it to use.)
One parking space (directly in front of the unit) is marked with the number 50, designating it for Villa la Vie. If you have more than one car, the extra can be parked in any spot marked "Guest." Even if you're in the numbered spot, please keep the guest parking pass on your dashboard. (Again, please remember to put it back in the basket when you leave.)
DO NOT park in any numbered space other than 50. The regime (HOA) will tow vehicles without passes or parked in the wrong numbered spaces.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a place for adults in its design, AND because the entry stairs and spiral-staircase access to the pool are somewhat steep. The complex was built in the '70s. Villa la Vie is on the second and third floors and is NOT handicapped accessible. If you have difficulty with stairs, this condo may not be for you.
We welcome primary renters over 25 but please,.
A rental agreement will be sent upon booking and is required for your stay. A $300 security deposit hold will be placed (but not charged) a couple of days before your stay and released a day or two after.
No smoking or vaping - not inside or anywhere around the complex.
NO parties or "events" of any kind, ever - again, not inside or anywhere around the complex.
Between 10 pm and 8 am is Quiet Time - not just by complex and house rules but according to town ordinance, as well.
No pets - Sorry; this is a condo association rule, and we can't waive it.
Two-night minimum stays, but we know you'll want to stay at least a week. Or longer.
Again - guest parking passes are located in the unit. Please use them, even if you are in the marked space. Also, please remember to put them back in the basket at the end of your stay.
The regime (condo association) rules prohibit hanging towels or anything else on the balcony railings. If you break this rule, we will be fined, so please don't do it.
The complex pool is open for swimming from April 1 - September 30. The pool deck is open for relaxing and lounging all year.
PLEASE consider purchasing travel insurance to cover your trip. THEN DO SO. It's worth it to cover unavoidable but non-refundable cancellations.

This beautiful two-story condo is ideally located - only a 5 minute stroll to one of the country’s best beaches (it's not just our opinion; Conde Nast Traveler rated it tops!) and a 10 minute walk from Coligny Beach Park, so you can easily enjoy lazy beach days during your stay. Let gentle waves wash away your cares just as they do your footprints in the fine, soft sand. Hilton Head Island boasts truly spectacular sunrises, as well, making early morning walks on the beach a real pleasure.
The complex courtyard is private and lush and features a sparkling pool in the center (open for swimming from April 1 - September 30).
This condo is nestled in the perfect location in Hilton Head, with easy access to numerous shopping and dining options and Lowcountry Celebration Park (the Adventure Ship is something to see!).
