Positive: The bed was very comfortable and there were good views from the back bedroom window. The property was spacious and the tv was a good size and worked easily. The host responded quickly to deal with a plumbing issue. The location on Benbecula proved to be a good base for exploring and island hopping. The proximity to local supermarkets was very convenient.
Negative: The location as an end terrace on a housing estate meant that the parking was a little distance from the front door, and at the time of our stay there was work to underground pipes along the path to the property. The description has said free on site parking - it was free but it was not within the property. Upon entering the property, we were disappointed to find a lot of weeds and debris in the front garden. Similarly, the back garden was unkempt. There was some food debris in the oven - which, whilst easily removed, should have been dealt with prior to our arrival. The upstairs toilet required attention - and, on the plus side, was sorted very quickly when we reported the issue. There was, however, no response to our reporting that the cooker hood/extraction fan was not working.
