Positive: Nice old pub, clean, pleasant staff, good main meal
Negative: We had a room in the cottage. Although it wasnโ€™t cold outside, the room was not comfortably warm. When asking about the heating, we were told it depends on the outside temperature so there was nothing they could do. However, we woke in the morning to a hothouse as the heating was on. We sat down to breakfast and was asked about tea/coffee virtually straightaway. However it was 25 minutes later that the waiter took our order after we complained. We both wanted Eggs Benedict but was told there were no muffins available so we had it served on a thin slice of toast!
Summary: Mixed feelings but mainly disappointed. Will not be staying again.
