Summary: I rented a king bed room. Everything was great. My only comment is that the shower stall is small. It would be nice if the electrical keypad would light up when you tap in the door code.

Summary: I had high hopes for this hotel. There is no elevator so you must go up steep steps. That was ok the first time but having to go up_ down 3 times to have the desk person reset your door code was not so much fun. As we were on our second attempt to open our door Two other guests stopped us to say they were having the same issue.
I was expecting our room to have been decorated as in the pictures we saw which was lovely. Our room had nothing close to what had been depicted. The furniture looked like it was from a second hand store. Ex. Table tops scuffed wood. The bed was extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows
We were freezing during the night but could not get the heater to work.
The coffee station never had warm coffee or hot water.
The dining room was cafeteria type tables with chairs that were unsteady.
Disappointed in this hotel.

Summary: It’s a very old hotel so set your expectations accordingly as far as size and amenities. But for what it is, I really enjoyed my stay. It’s a beautiful building and the lobby receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The shower was very small, but again, this building is 145 years old. The room wasn’t very cool and I couldn’t find the thermostat if there even was one. But if you go into it with expectations that it’s a beautiful, historic building that may lack a couple of modern amenities, you should enjoy your stay. There’s also plenty of good food, coffee and bar options nearby.

Summary: This is a really fun historic hotel, with enough modern conveniences that it doesn't feel dated. Leadville is a great town to visit -- have been in CO for 20+ years and this was our first time up there.

Summary: Clean room, but water temperature fluctuated during shower, no a/c and fixtures pretty old. Everything worked but was a bit dated.
