Summary: Receptionists were friendly and helpful- upgraded room was a bonus and nice view. Bed was far too soft for me and you do get some noise from the street and bars around. The windows are single pane so use your ear plugs which are provided. Shower was nice but leaks all over the floor due to poor workmanship - aside from that the room was nice a comfortable - clean and provided all necessary items required. The outdoor patios and gardens are the highlight of the George- great setting and nice ambience - however- again watch out for the prices on the drinks - one pint of Camden and one Aperol £22.50!! My only major negative would be the price per night at the hotel - again I appreciate it’s the high season and the location is perfect- but somewhat over the top especially when I’m comparing this to other hotels with similar locations at a more sensible price. Would I stay again- maybe not- I would look for alternative hotels in or nearby Yarmouth. This is just my view and I’m in no way trying to make out that the George isn’t worth a visit- it is- but just be mindful.
