Positive: Totally unique! Some great sunset / sunrise views
Negative: The sauna took a long time to heat (over 2 hours for average temperature). We were provided robes but no slippers, which wasn’t enjoyable on the metal stairs to the spa area. It’s not made clear, that the area is still a total construction site and we were woken at 7am by the noise of this, as well as the impracticality of wheeling suitcases over various terrains to access (metal planks / sand / ply board). We were informed ‘housekeeping’ took place at 12 noon… we were out and on return it seemed like they hadn’t done anything to be honest… no where was cleaned, the bins not emptied, the linen wasn’t changed, no fresh towels or robes provided, the mini bar was not topped up… I’m not even sure housekeeping turned up ? In a message from yourselves it says you provide the use of bikes to access the local area for free, there was one bike abandoned against the construction site railings? Breakfast consisted of cold croissants, cheese and yogurt - a way to heat these up would be great! For £850+ a night I expected more attention to detail…
