Positive: This is a lovely pub/hotel and throroughly recommended. We received a warm welcome (always important) and were shown to our rooms/helped to settle in. The rooms themselves were on the other side of the beer garden, so separate from the main building - they were spacious and secure. The bed was very comfortable and there was a great shower room/bathroom. Loads of space and nice touches, like fresh milk in the fridge and a couple of bottles of water. Breakfast was superb - full English, packed eggs on sourdough, pastries, fruit juice etc. Fab location (short walk to the centre of Kingston, train station, shopping etc.) and parking available. We will be back!

Negative: There seemed to be some confusion over whether we could park in their car park. Initially I was told no as all the spaces had been reserved, but when we got there, there were spaces and we could park.

Summary: Great pub hotel near centre of Kingston with comfortable rooms and a fab breakfast.
