Positive: This is just the most incredible setting, the scenery and the place itself are as authentic as you could possibly get in Symi. The neighbours (the old Greek couple next door, also the owner’s in-laws) are as welcoming as you could imagine and they helped us and offered us homemade food while we were there.
Negative: Nothing that would be the owner’s fault but if you are planning a stay in Symi (anywhere in symi) please be aware of its set-up: it is all climbing up steps, including to get to the property and inside the property, with very limited roads and loads of noisy motorbikes and mopeds along the only road in the village.
Summary: It was a wonderful place and wonderful people, we totally left our heart with them.
