Positive: We loved our stay at The View. As the name suggests, the view really is something special – offering uninterrupted panoramas of Funchal and the ocean. It almost feels like you are in a penthouse. The villa has been recently renovated and is full of character, with thoughtful touches throughout. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The roof terrace was a great for sunbathing and soaking up the scenery. Simone, the owner, was lovely and very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended.

Negative: The driveway up to the property is quite narrow, and the space to turn the car is tight. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but it might be a bit tricky with a larger vehicle or if you’re not a confident driver.
