Summary: Ty Men is indeed a beautiful, characteristic country house. Very spacious, inside and outside. The garden provides calm, cosy dinings thanks to the view and the large terraces. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms are tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the presence of two refrigerators, a washing machine and drying tumbler. Nevertheless, staying with little children comes with certain limitations: the garden has no fence and small children tend to climb the walls surrounding the terraces because of the sloping surface, which might be dangerous when the fall off on the other side of the wall. Apart from that, the fence between the property and the meadow (where cows graze) consists of a wire under which children can easily crawl. We asked for two baby beds, which were provided without mattresses - luckily we brought them ourselves! A mixer wasn't available (important for preparing baby food) and couldn't be provided upon request. One baby chair came without safety belt. The oven is situated at child hight... And last but not lease, there is the noise that comes with an open and old house. So our opinion would be: great house for families with bigger children and a good starting point for excursions.
