The property is located in the beautiful Texas hill country and is adjacent to a working art center, Eye of the Dog. There is a community garden and chickens that can be viewed from the house. Plenty of wildlife and dogs on the property to behold. The perfect location to get away from town without being too far away (7 minute drive into town). Can accommodate larger groups (8-10 guests).

New, modern, stand alone lodge, in a peaceful rural setting, shares 12 acres w/ a working art center. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, great room w /work & sitting area .Large board room table/seats 8 (w/ add on table 20 ) 10 min. - San Marcos- 45 min -Austin, 55 min - San Antonio. Perfect for creative recharge, small corporate retreats, family reunions, friend's "get-away" or floating the river . Consider having a family gathering for the holidays. Please no children under 14. No pets please.

The space
The grounds are home to birds, deer, and other wildlife. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the tools to cook gourmet meals. Breakfast items are provided for our guests to grab at any time. There is a gas BBQ grill and a laundry room. We also have a large outdoor kitchen and stage special events (upon request/may be an extra charge) Due to our extra protection during the pandemic, the grounds and studio buildings are not open to guests. You will however, have the front and backyard of the Inn to relax and enjoy time with friends. There are large decks up and down stairs as well as a picnic table. You may hear the chickens happily clucking or crowing... Your view off the back deck and bedrooms invites you to enjoy several acres of wooded natural wonders.

We are paying very close attention to Covid-19 cleaning procedures. All surfaces are being sanitized according to the guidelines provided. We wait at least three days between bookings. Hand sanitizer, Chlorox, and other cleaners available.
