Positive: The villa is finished to a very high standard and the outdoor seating areas and bbq are brilliant. There is also a view of the sea. The walk to the beach is along a road but very easy. Haris recommended a restaurant in the Port which was very nice and we also ate lunch on the beach at Karavostasi beach twice (the first one as you go down the steps to the beach). We preferred this bay to Livadi but you do have to drive there. We bought very nice meat from the butchers Haris recommended in the port. Rethymon old town is well worth a visit and we also went to Lake Kournas. We had a really relaxing stay and wish it could have been longer. Thank you Haris and family.
