Positive: This was an incredible experience. The house was above expectations, we knew we were renting a larger place (4 bedrooms, even if we were just 3 people going in) but we needed a comfortable place for a combined stay of both vacation + working days. First of all it is still connected to Villa San Giovanni and Reggio Calabria quite close, also on a quiet street, but also closer to the highway. The view was incredible and it was one of the highlights of the house. In pictures it doesn't capture all of it, but it is incredible to have this sea view and on the horizon Sicily on the other side. It looks incredible both in the day and at night (we still can't get over it). Then the house has a spacious living room, with a large TV (streaming whatever you like) and comfortable couches. There are plenty of social games if you want to stay longer and need some activities. The kitchen is also very spacious, big enough table which can be extended, a lot of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, coffee machine, toaster, oven, large fridge, etc. (just a microwave could be added). Then there are 4 bedrooms (3 with double beds and 1 with twin beds), out of them we only used 2 but the beds were very comfortable and everything very clean, TVs in all. Some pillows were a bit harder, but you have a few options if needed. You could have 8 people sleeping here, but keep in mind the living room couches are not pull-outs. There are also 4 bathrooms spread out on all the floors, so that's very convenient. Again, bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, everything smelling very nice. There is even a room with a pool table (not big player here, but it was fun to have this option, although the corner pockets seem tighter :)) There is a very nice patio and outside area on the ground floor, barbeque, sunbeds and a very nice garden. On the first floor a big terrace. We were here start of December and it was chillier, but aircons on heat were actually up to the task.
Negative: Can't really say we didn't like something, more like it would have been nice to have a microwave and possibly a few more softer pillows. These are not complaints, just if these are added, then there really isn't anything to comment about from my point of view :) Also keep in mind that you really do need a car to come and go from the house (we had a rental car for our entire stay, so we came prepared) and walking to get here is not really an option (or to go to stores for example). This is an incredible place and I can only assume in the spring, summer and early autumn it is the best time to be here. You are also close to Scilla and other small villages and towns, getting to beaches is very easy by car. We even went to Tropea on a day trip and it still ok. It is the best place, even if you just want to explore a laid-back area and get yourself lost in this very beautiful place! We really do hope to come back here again! Thank you for welcoming us Tito!
