Welcome to the Acorn Cottage. This home was a vacant camp until mid-2023 when it was purchased and renovated by Cornerstone Properties. And just like an acorn is small but contains enough to sprout a mighty oak, Acorn Cottage is a quaint space that contains everything you need to create lasting family memories. Acorn Cottage is centrally located for easy travel to Canton, Potsdam, Waddington, Massena, and Ogdensburg. We hope you'll choose Acorn Cottage for your North Country lodging needs.
The space
The Acorn Cottage has been fully updated while still maintaining the charm of a older camp. There is a beautiful view of the Grasse River across the street as well as public access walking trails less than two miles away. The backyard is spacious, with plenty of room for play as well as cozy evenings around a fire.
Guest access
Guests will have complete access to the entire cottage during their stay, including the back yard with outdoor dining (to be expanded in the spring) and a fire pit.

Inside the Acorn Cottage, guests will be greeted by a stocked coffee bar with a French Press, Keurig, assorted teas, ground coffee, and k-cups. There is a well-stocked, spacious kitchen open to the living room creating lots of space for meals and games.
The living room is equipped with a 50" smart tv, cozy throw blankets, and lots of space to stretch out. There are assorted games and books for guests to enjoy as well as fast internet to keep everyone happy. The arm chairs have easy slide pads on the legs so you can move them as you see fit for optimal comfort during your stay.
Upstairs, both bedrooms have comfy beds as well as convenient storage space in the closets. Guests will find an ironing board and iron in Bedroom 1. There is also a desk and chair for times that guests may need to get some work done. Bedroom 2 has built-in storage spaces in the closet as well as a side table.
The bathroom is also well-stocked with fluffy towels, all the necessities, and a basket of toiletries (for all the little things that it's easy to forget).
Outside, the backyard is ready for a family campfire or a quiet morning cup of coffee. The outdoor dining area will be expanded in Spring 2024. In the front yard, you'll be treated to views of the Grasse River.
