Positive: Beautifully furnished, lovely views, all the appliances and kitchenware you could need, responsive host.
Negative: The road up to the property was treacherously icy, definitely need a 4x4 car to get there in the winter. The steps up to the house were also extremely icy and didn’t have salt/grit on them. The property is quite far from town, you need to drive everywhere. There were some safety hazards in the house like exposed radiator pipes where a radiator had been removed, and one step on the stairs being shorter than the others so nearly tripped several times. There are a lot of stairs in general. Only 1 bathroom for 3 bedrooms, which could be challenging if you had 6 guests (luckily we were only 4). Sound carries a lot, the top (main) bedroom has no door (just curtains) so we had to be very careful with noise when our noise-sensitive toddler was sleeping!
