Positive: This hotel was good value for money for Rio de Janeiro. We enjoyed staying in Flamengo. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature were great. Very varied breakfast and dinner buffets. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar area with views of both Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf mountain.

Negative: We would have appreciated a kettle in the room but this doesn’t seem common in Brazil.
