One-way streets run through the settlement, there is no through traffic. The car is right at the house and there is also space for visitors' cars.
On foot you are quickly at the water or in the nearby restaurants, with a kilometer-wide view over the Veerse Meer.
Three bicycles are available for longer or shorter distances, so it doesn't take half a day of vacation to search and rent - and then it rains when you finally have them. You are just there. The bikes are serviced, two different women's bikes and one men's bike (old school) are available, they have locks and the light works, and you're ready to go.
They can also be used to translate into medieval Veere and arrive directly there, further to Middelburg and back: 30 kilometers there and back. Back usually with a tail wind.
Kayaks are at the house or can be brought at short notice.
The property is surrounded by high but friendly hedges that protect against wind and glances.
The view over the hedges goes for miles into the sunset, from the garden, but also from the living room.

The garden is well kept and flowers bloom all year round. Whenever, wherever, you can have breakfast, laze, grill or go to the shade in the sun. Depending on the weather, you can use one of the three terraces, at the barbecue area by the garden fireplace you are protected under a tree and can also take shelter under a small roof of the garden house from a possible shower.
Barbecue and grill chimney are available, beach shell and chairs, everything you could actually need while on vacation, but still missing somewhere else, that's our aim.
