The quiet, wooded village of Meiersberg is located approx. 8 km southwest of Ueckermรผnde, on the small river Zarow and is an ideal starting point for cycling and water hikes within the Stettiner Haff Nature Park, which is characterised by the natural unspoilt sections of the Haff coast with the Haff meadows, wide forest complexes of the Ueckermรผnder Heide, the lowlands of the rivers Uecker and Randow and the Brohmer Berge.Relevant information and tips for excursions are available at the nature park visitor centre in Eggesin - approx. 16 km away. Boats and rafts can also be hired there at the idyllic natural harbour. A fine sandy beach with a beautiful promenade, shopping facilities and restaurants as well as a zoo can be found in the harbour town of Ueckermรผnde, approx. 8 km away.
