Nice house with a lake view located 120 meters from the beautiful lake Såduggen in Ukna, just outside of Överum. The area is characterized by the Uknadalen rift valley stretch where you can enjoy wonderful views of lakes, mountains and farmland. A well-kept house on two levels with a large kitchen with dishwasher and a nice dining area. The nice living room has a large, pleasant sofa and TV. A beautifully curved staircase leads you up to the upper floor, which has a balcony with a magical view of the lake. Here, too, there is a living room with a sofa, a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a single bed. You have two bathrooms, a fresh, fully tiled one with toilet, sink, shower and washing machine downstairs and a smaller bathroom with a toilet and a sink upstairs. There is a nice garden where you can enjoy beautiful flowers, as well as the wonderful view, here there is outdoor furniture and a barbecue. There is also a small horse park with carved wooden horses for the children. The owner kindly ask you to be frugal with electricity during your stay in the house. Electricity costs in Sweden are expensive so keep that in mind to be sparing with hot water and electricity. About 120m from the house is the lake Såduggen, please note that the old narrow-gauge railway runs between the plot and the lake. To go a safer way with railway barriers you instead follow the road. Always supervise children. Feel free to try your luck fishing for perch and pike. Weekly fishing licenses are bought in the resort. Boat can be rented for a fee, contact the owner regarding boat-rent. The municipal family bathing area Jonsäng with sandy beach, lawn, piers and jumping tower is about 1.5 km away. In the community Överum there is a shop, restaurant, kiosk, cafe and service. The nearest city is Västervik with its picturesque city centre, its restaurants and many events during the summer. Here, tour boats also go out to the outermost strip of sea with cobbles and skerries. You only have 25 km to the coast and the popular community of Loftahammar, with lots of boaters, restaurants, cafes, swimming at beaches and cliffs. Another coastal city is Söderköping with its entrance to the Göta Kanal and all the locks which are 80 km away and suitable as a day trip. Around the area there are many small village roads and paths that pass beautiful small lakes and communities. Perfect for cycling and day trips. The Storskogen offers nice hiking trails in beautiful nature, here there are plenty of mushrooms and berries at the right time of the year and with a bit of luck in the early mornings and at dusk you can often see moose, deer and roe deer. For the youngest, a visit to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby or Kolmårdens Djurpark with its fine park with animals and fairground is usually popular.
