My home is a fully furnished, recently renovated property boasting with 15 ft ceilings in the common areas, and 10ft ceilings in the bedrooms. This is a 2 bedroom property kissed with new bamboo flooring, marble countertops, new appliances, and a large shared bathroom that also houses the laundry room. Come stay worry free with all of the basic necessities you’d need right at your fingertips, towels, dishes, linens, pots, utensils, etc! This home is just shy of 100 years old, so I ask that you help us preserve this piece of history by using the utmost care and appreciation while you’re visiting with us, so please respect your elders 😉.
This property is located in one of the most historic neighborhoods in the United States, and is booming with personality from the colorful houses, to the amazing culture! Come live like a local and enjoy the amazing food at Dooky Chase Restaurant, Willie Mae's Scotch House and so much more also located right in this very neighborhood! Also, if you’re ever here Mardi Gras Day, you can sit on the porch and enjoy all the action just one block away from the parade route!
Close to everything, we’re just a few blocks from Lafitte Greenway, a 5 min drive to Whole Foods, the Superdome, New Orleans Arena, the French Quarter, downtown, Bayou St. John, Esplanade, City Park, Mid-city restaurants and shopping areas and just 1 block away from 1-10 / Claiborne, and so much more!
The Treme neighborhood has a rich Creole and African American history, as one of the oldest in the country. Residents of Treme are native New Orleanians, transplants and many who work in the hospitality area. Residents of this community are the same people that cook our delicious food in the restaurants you visit, work in our service industry and keep our city running.
During the day, enjoy the pretty walk along the busy street to the French Quarter and Marigny however it is suggested that you take a cab or Uber back after dark. New Orleans is an urban area but as a whole, everyone tends to exercise southern hospitality and will be willing to help you, just please utilize common sense while visiting and going out in your free time.
