Positive: We had a lovely stay over Memorial Day weekend. The house is very comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed for a relaxing time. The hosts were extremely kind, helpful, and even generous โ€” they really went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Unfortunately, the weather wasnโ€™t on our side that week, so we didnโ€™t get to enjoy the beautiful dock by the lake as much as we had hoped. Itโ€™s a wonderful spot when the sunโ€™s out, though. Short drive from Jim Thorpe.
Negative: A note for future guests: access to the dock could be a bit challenging if youโ€™re not in good physical shape, as it involves some uneven terrain. The backyard is spacious and pleasant, though itโ€™s quite open and doesnโ€™t offer much privacy. Still, itโ€™s a great place to sit out and enjoy the fresh air when the weather cooperates.
