Positive: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Forest Side Bungalows. The bungalows are located just outside Tetebatu, which is an advantage because the rice fields are still untouched by tourism, and the views from the bungalows are breathtaking. Scooters are available for rent, so you can go wherever you like. The family is very welcoming, and Son and Nex make sure every guest feels at home and well taken care of. I highly recommend booking a tour with them. Son gave an excellent tour through the rice fields surrounding the village, the monkey forrest, bamboo basket weaving and drove me all the way to the Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls. He is very knowledgeable and gives great insights into life at the Lombok countryside. The food prepared by Elle was also outstanding. Highly recommended, one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, I hope to return someday!
