Positive: I stayed 3 nights and am glad I chose this hotel. I requested a quiet room and received top floor, back of the building, which was great. Every staff member I interacted with was very kind and helpful. The room was a bit dated (this is a historic building with various updates in the rooms but some stuff is still old) but clean. Having a mini-fridge was nice. Air con worked well and was good for me at night because the window let in several mosquitoes when I left it open. The lift was fast! I liked the location—walkable to pretty much everything but a bit removed from any chaos. As a solo traveler I felt very safe, and it was a good value.
Negative: WiFi caused some buffering occasionally during video meetings, so it wasn’t ideal for remote work. My room (a single) was extremely small, though I did see inside other rooms and they were much more spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable but not the best mattress.
