Enjoy all the North Country has to offer which includes swimming, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing for rainbow/lake trout, large & small-mouth bass, perch, rock bass, and more. Take advantage of the untouched, forever wild NYS land which surrounds one-third (over 1,000 acres) of Trout Lake, as you hike, explore, and hunt (during the fall - maybe even catch some spectacular fall foliage)!
The handicap accessible cabin features an open floor plan, with a full kitchen and bathroom, spacious living room, and more. The first floor offers a bunk room with bunk beds (sleeps two), master bedroom (sleeps two), kitchen, full bath, dining area, and living room - which has a couch with a pullout bed (sleeps two). A loft provides sleeping accommodations for two. Other features include a covered porch overlooking the water, a fire pit to enjoy a campfire and s'mores, a boat launch that provides the opportunity to BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat & beer, of course), a dock to fish from, and a spacious yard to play yard games and enjoy the outdoors. Kayaks, paddle boards, an aluminum boat with a trolling motor, and life vests are also included. Other amenities include a gas grill and picnic table.
Take the boat out to enjoy the views and cool down, as there is muck/sediment at the bottom in the waterfront area. Most prefer to swim in the middle of the lake or at the sandy state beach.
