Positive: Beautiful house in great surroundings with very helpful and pleasant host. Being at the very top of the house was a little tiring. We had cycled 30 miles so another 51 steps to the top of the house was a killer However, we did get great views and it was very quiet! Breakfast this morning was very nice and in the most perfect setting. Paying by contactless was a real benefit.
Negative: The distance from Domfront. I hadn’t quite appreciated. It was 50 Euros one way so the total cost including breakfast was almost 300Euros. This isn’t a complaint as the host was very helpful and very pleasant and i meant to mention at breakfast. The radiators need bleeding. The gurgling sound in the room from the radiators went on for some time last night. It didn’t disturb our sleep so must have forgotten about it.
Summary: So pleased to have stayed in such a beautiful home with good host. The Hose gives a very clear nod to previous times and
